15.12.2012. A new release from Lunar Abyss Deus Organum – an album called “Atimudra”, in recording of which I took part. The CD is available in standard (yet handmade) edition, limited art-edition in oversized packaging with additional photo album, and as an ultra-limited box-set with a bonus CD-R containing a live recording and various handmade inserts.
“Fifth full-weight CD album of the project. Like all previous releases, it is a collection of tracks created in a long timespan. Plenty of various sound flows in parallels and angle-wise, interwined in ingenious multi-layered patterns, flows from different worlds, spaces and times. They include early sets of samples, improvisations from the live gigs, different home and field recordings, meta-synthesis, ethnic artifacts, vintage synths, radio capture and jam-sessions with friends. This way the new L.A.D.O. album continues to implement its main concept of interspatial and intertemporal contact.
Unlike “Snovidenie” or “Tuntury”, here every composition is a separate piece, a unique story, listening them in a row is like reading short novels, but despite the diversity of forms they all are interfused with same kind of mood, vibrating on one cosmic wave. One of the pieces is recorded together with Kshatriy, another one formed from the materials of Hattifnatter, but the overall amount of sound contributors is just impossible to describe. The final mastering was done by Uak-Kib (Kshatriy).
Aesthetically the album keeps following L.A.D.O. “style” – distinctive and already well-known psychedelic drone ambient; practically it is like a remedy for one’s mind. The album’s mood has a lot in common with the recent 10″ record “Atanimonni Aitnatsbus”. “Ati-mudra” has an approximate translation from the Sanskrit: “ati” means inherent, perfect, true, “mudra” is state, setting, seal. Cover art features a drawing made by the author during one of Karelian trips in 2002.“

“Raw live recording from a gig happened on November 1st, 2004 in Experimental Sound Gallery (GEZ-21), with NikNik (Hladna) and first appearence of M.M. (Kryptogen Rundfunk). It all starts with low-key field recordings, guitar loops and mouth harp planks, and closer to the middle develops into spontaneous noise blasts, all second half of the performance is raw shamanic drone noise with tough analogue pulsations and crackling of metal objects trapped in chains of sound effects. And of course voice signals of E.S. and NikNik. The correct atmosphere of the gig was intensified by a video. Essential material for those interested in project’s history.”

Around the same time comes out a cassette by Hattifnatter “Liven’1” by the mysterious label Л.Ш. with fragments of live recordings from 2010 and two additional tracks by Lunar Abyss and Govorit Radio “Kosmos”.

01.02.2012. Ufa Muzak releases a recording by Ganzer “Omega Point” in which I took part as a guest musician.
“Along the metal walls of a small room slide the long shadows like interwined snakes. But there is nothing here and never have been, in this hazardous organic environment existence is impossible. Temperature heats up and steam swirls in white clouds. Gnash comes from the cracks in the floor and ceiling, someone tries to penetrate from the outside and strikes with great force with large-tonnage constructions. Sometimes noise becomes unbearable and the room shakes from waves of sonic pressure. Weightless like vapour this album of Ganzer streams from long huge rusty pipes randomly thrown on the ground. This hot smoke clogs the throat and tears the lungs. There is movement inside the pipes, soon it should come out. Half an hour of heavy waiting, listening deeply the harsh splashes of noise. The device indicator shows the way. There is nothing and has never been, in this metal box, in this prison, only an embossed inscription on the wall: your name and two dates, of your birth and your death.”
